Therapy for Children
Navigating the turbulent waters of parenting a child who experiences intense emotional and behavioral dysregulation can feel like an unending storm. Together, we can embark on a journey to empower your child with the skills to manage their emotions and to navigate their worries, transforming these overwhelming tides into manageable waves.

My specialties
Therapy for Emotional Dysregulation
Your child is having these big, unexpected emotional outbursts and they started hitting, stomping, yelling, slamming doors, etc. Their reaction seems to be way out of proportion compared to the situation. You try to stay calm, validate their feelings, and use tools to help them calm down, but it just isn't working. Many parents I work with report their child's meltdowns last up to 45 minutes before beginning therapy. You're feeling frustrated and exhausted with working through these outbursts. You’re defeated and desperately needing something to change, especially before it starts happening at school or in the community.
Let's work together to help your kiddo become more independent and confident in their ability to manage their emotions.
Therapy for Childhood Anxiety
Your child seems to be constantly worrying. They have worry-filled questions about anything and everything- even things that they know the answers to. They have difficulty with you leaving during sports practices, being home alone, they need things to be perfect, dislike trying new things, miss out on things they would enjoy just because they don't want to leave you, and still sleep in your bed sometimes. When things are out of their usual routine or last-minute changes occur, you just know it will be a challenge, maybe even filled with tears. The reassurance you provide should be helping but it doesn't seem to be making a difference.
Let me help your kiddo start recognizing when the worries start to swirl.
